We announced on Facebook with the flier that we were seeking volunteers to help in Ashley's full-time Son-Rise Program this summer! We got immediate responses and now have a great team of 9 people including Jeremy and myself!
Below was our facebook post on April 22nd:
"We are excited to announce that we are starting a parent-directed Son-Rise Program for Ashley!!!!
We were in Sheffield, MA last week for intensive parent training. We are confident it will allow her to improve her communication, develop deeper levels of social engagement, and to accomplish all that God has for her. We have already begun implementing the program and are seeing amazing results!
While Jeremy and I will be facilitating a lot of her treatment, the program also ut...ilizes volunteers to bring their unique talents and passions to help Ashley learn how to interact with others. We are looking for volunteers with the right ENERGY, EXCITEMENT, and ENTHUSIASM to help us this summer since we will be doing a full-time program.
